ILC-India is planning to celebrate the World Women’s Day 2023 at an Old Age Home by organizing a few activities in an infotainment way!
World Women’s Day is celebrated across the globe on 8th March every year and this day gives an opportunity to show our gratitude towards the most amazing ladies in our lives, be it a mother/wife/daughter/friend/colleague/teachers and so on.
This year, ILC-I is planning to visit our older ladies residing in one of the oldest old age homes in Pune city. This old age home is only for older ladies and most of them are 75 years and above. ILC-I has previously conducted a programme with them, we are planning to conduct an interactive programme on the evening of Women’s day this year.
The programme would be a package of simple yet brain-stimulating activities where senior ladies would participate in singing, identifying names, solving simple puzzles and sharing their thoughts about influential women in their lives. The programme will conclude with vote of thanks by ILC-I’s staff member and followed by refreshments for all.
