On International Women's Day, Rosy Pereyra, President of ILC-Dominican Republic was awarded with the Medal of Merit, the highest honour that the Dominican Government gives to women.
Rosy took the opportunity to tell him that she was very pleased with the Award, but that she would be even more pleased with the Government signed the Inter-American Convention on Protecting the Human Rights of Older Persons (http://www.oas.org/…/inter_american_treaties_A-70_human_rig…).

In Memoriam: Professor Tetsuo Tsuji, President of ILC Japan
It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Professor Tetsuo Tsuji on July 30, 2026. At the time of his passing, Professor Tsuji was President of ILC Japan and, until March 2026, a Professor at the Institute of Gerontology, University of Tokyo, one of Japan’s leading institutions for research on ageing.

Tsao Foundation, has appointed Ms Geraldyn Lim as its Chief Executive Officer with effect from 26 August 2026. The announcement follows a comprehensive search by the Foundation.
